This year for Residents Rights Week the State Ombudsman Office developed materials for the local PEER projects to use to train staff called Rights– A Residents Perspective. These materials were used local PEER Projects with great success. Pictured above is Lottie Laidecker, Lycoming County presenting to a group of staff. In Lycoming County over 125 facility staff were trained by PEERs.
Lottie also recently served as a presenter on March 11, 2008 at the Ombudsman Enrichment conference. Thanks for your efforts and congratulations Lottie.
Lottie and her fellow PEERs from Sycamore Manor Paul Lusk, Millie Shipman, and John Brown have been nominated for the 7th Annual PEER award which will be given on May 7, 2008.
